It is very true and a proved fact that a successful and strong relation between a dog and its owner is built through their trust on each other and understanding. We have to use human methods to train our companion and loving pet. Human methods also increase trust, affection and enhance communication between owner and dog. Don’t ever use inhuman and harsh techniques that hurt your dog. Such inhuman punishment base methods breakdown the relation between owner and dog and dog tends to be aggressive. To own an obedient dog is a pleasure. It looks very nice when your dog obeys your instruction, your dog walks beside you and makes trick with you. At that time, you feel proud of your companion dog.
If you want your dog come whenever you call him, then you must call him in the same tune ever, but don’t call him with different names. It will confuse your dog. Choose such name that would be call in tune. It will attract your dog more effectively. Opt for short name instead of long name and also select unique name for your dog if you want your puppy to respond quickly. Choose a few words to call your puppy then start calling him slowly and lovingly. He may ignore some names but you will notice that he may prick up his ears attentively on some name. When your dog responds well, then you must give him reward on his good behavior. The best way is to offer him some kind of treat food. Dog treats are easily available in the market that can be small pieces of meat, bone, toy etc. If your dog prone to gain weight, then offer him a toy treat to play with rather than food treat. Don’t ever punish your dog. It will loose his trust upon you and also make negative affect on the feeling of his belonging to you. If you come to know that your dog has chewed your antique bed’s legs when you arrived at home, then don’t punish him or abuse him. In case if he is chewing your bed’s legs when you reach home, then just say him to stop but don’t aggressively react.
